Validation

In computer modeling and simulation, validation is the process of determining the degree or accuracy to which a model or simulation is an accurate representation of a real world process from the perspective of the intended uses of the model or simulation.

Verification

In computer modeling and simulation, verification is the process of determining the accuracy of which the governing equations of a specific model or simulation are being solved.
